INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO D.S. DOORS INDIA LIMITED ENHANCES PRACTICAL LEARNING FOR INTERIOR DESIGN STUDENTS
The Industrial Visit was organized by the Department of Interior Design, Nandlal Bose Subharti College of Fine Arts and Fashion Design (NBSCFF), Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, to D.S. Doors India Limited, Badarpur Border, Delhi on 27th February 2026.
A group of enthusiastic Interior Design students, accompanied by department faculty members, participated in the visit to gain practical industry exposure.
The visit was conducted by Mr. Munesh Sisodia (General Manager), who guided the students throughout the unit and explained in detail the complete manufacturing process of furniture and doors from raw wood to fully usable finished products. Students closely observed seasoning, cutting, assembling, polishing, finishing, and quality control procedures.
An insightful lecture was delivered by Ar. Dinesh K. Jangid (Managing Director), who shared his professional experience and provided valuable insights into industry standards, innovation, and career opportunities in the field of interior design.
The visit proved highly beneficial in enhancing practical knowledge and bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world industry practices.
