An On-Campus Practical Workshop and Recruitment Drive of Lenskart was organized by the Training and Placement Department of Subharti University on 30th May 2022. 3 Officials from Lenskart visited and appreciated the discipline and quality of Subharti University. Headed by Mr. Peyush Bansal, Lenskart is a Brand with a net worth of more than 3 Billion dollars in the International Market, and the owner is a prominent figure in the famous reality show, Shark Tank India.

The Event-triggered off with a Practical Workshop of Lenskart imparting quality, pragmatic knowledge to all years Optometry students. Several important topics like Technicalities of Lenses, Future of Lenses, type and Quality of Frame selection for the customized fit of the customer, etc. were covered during the Workshop providing candidates a view of the Practical Application of the Theories they’ve studied. Along with this a Market strategy on challenges and tips to bloom in the market were also discussed. After the Workshop The Recruitment Process was taken up for Final year Students of Optometry.

The first round was Pre Placement Talk. Thereafter students were taken to the Hospital Eye OPD for Technical Chair Test, Refraction Test, etc. Personal interviews were also conducted simultaneously. After the completion of these Tests, Candidates were given an Online Psychometric and Behavioral Assessment Test by the Company. A Final Interview with the Senior HR was also Conducted after this. After all day rigorous process of assessments came the time for the fruit of the hard work. The Hard Work paid off and 4 Students were finally selected by Lenskart to join their team. 3 Students were selected for the Optum profile while 1 was selected for Sales. Ahead of them lies the great road of Hard work, Self Improvisation, Progress, and growth.
