Press Report Regarding Reel Making Competition

The Department of Paramedical Sciences of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut organised Reel Making Competition on September 9th, 2023 under the aegis of Subharti Sanghmata Student Club. In this digital age, Reels have emerged as one of the most appealing media for the youth to showcase their creativity on social media.
The aim of organising the competition was to provide a platform to students to explore their creative side and raise awareness about the significance of the medical sectors. The themes and subthemes of the competition were creativity, Life at Subharti and connecting youth in health services.
Sixty students from various streams of the department registered for the competition. The competition which was judged by Dr Umesh Kumar, Dr. Anshu Kumar Singh, Dr. Meenakshi Mishra, Ms. Yashika Bharadwaj and Mr. Pushpendra Kumar Rajput. Students were assessed on the parameters of subject relevance, creativity and originality. Mr. Ankur emerged as the winner of the competition under theme of life at Subharti, followed by Mr. Satyendra, Ms. Suneeta Singh, Ms. Alka Jaiswal, Km. Divya who achieved the second position. The first, second, and third prizes for their gracious presentation were bagged by Ms. Nime Bagang, Ms Vaishali Rawat and Ilma Ali Under theme of Connecting youth in health services. Students from 1st semester stands first position in theme comedy. All faculties from department of Paramedical Sciences were present in the program.
The Head of the Department Dr Pankaj Kishor Mishra appreciated the efforts of the coordinator of Subharti Sanghmata Students club of the department and its members for such creative involvement.
