सुभारती विश्वविद्यालय के भीकाजी कामा सुभारती काॅलेज ऑफ़ होटल मेंनेजमेंट में अध्यनरत बेचलर ऑफ़ होटल मैनेजमेंट पाठ्यक्रम के तृतीय एंव चतुर्थ वर्ष के छात्रों का छहः माह की इंडस्ट्रीयल ट्रेंनिग के लिए नई दिल्ली के पाँच सितारा होटल, द लोधी में चयन किया गया। होटल की ह्युमन रिसोर्स मैनेजर, सोनी गुप्ता ने साक्षात्कार के माध्यम से छात्रों की ज्ञान क्षमता एंव कार्य कुशलता को जाँचने के बाद होटल मैनेजमेंट के प्लेसमेंट अधिकारी सौरभ त्रिपाठी को चतुर्थ वर्ष के छात्र सिद्धार्थ त्यागी, शुभम त्यागी, अर्पित वर्मा, विपिन कुमार मोगा व मोमिन खान एंव तृतीय वर्ष कि छात्रा काजल अग्रवाल और तनिका जोशी के चयन के विषय में सूचित किया। प्लेसमेंट अधिकारी सौरभ त्रिपाठी ने बताया कि हम आगे और भी देश-विदेश के पाँच सितारा होटलो में छात्रों को रोजगार प्रदान करने के लिए भी प्रयत्नशील हैं तथा छात्रों को अच्छी से अच्छी नौकरी की व्यवस्था काॅलेज के प्लेसमेंट सैल द्वारा प्रदान की जायगी।
इस अवसर पर होटल मैनेजमेंट के विभागाध्यक्ष प्रो॰ (डाॅ॰) शिव मोहन वर्मा ने छात्रों के उज्जवल भविष्य की कामना करते हुए बताया कि कोविड के पश्चात् बदलते परिवेश में हाॅस्पिटेलिटी इंडस्ट्री में रोजगार की नई सम्भावनाएं भी नये-नये रूप में सामने आ रही हैं। पर्यटकों के स्वास्थ्य एंव सुरक्षा को ध्यान में रखते हुए नये स्किल्स एंव बिहेवियर पैटर्न पर जोर दिया जाना जरूरी है। प्रो॰ वर्मा ने बताया कि कोविड के दौरान हाॅस्पिटेलिटी इंडस्ट्री में आयी आर्थिक ठहराव अब धीरे-धीरे खत्म हो रही हैं। पर्यटन एंव यात्रा के प्रति नागरिको में बढ़ते रूझान से यह स्पष्ट संकेत मिल रहे है कि आने वाले समय में हाॅस्पिटेलिटी इंडस्ट्री पुनः एक बड़े स्तर पर रोजगार का सृजन करेगा। विभागाध्यक्ष ने यह भी बताया कि भविष्य में भी भीकाजी कामा सुभारती काॅलेज ऑफ़ होटल मैनेजमेंट विभाग अपने छात्रों के लिए रोजगार के नये-नये अवसर प्रदान करने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है।
The third and fourth-year students of the Bachelor of Hotel Management course at Bhikaji Cama Subharti College of Hotel Management, Subharti University, were selected for the six-month industrial training at “The Lodhi”, a five-star hotel in New Delhi. After interviewing the student’s knowledgeability and work efficiency through interviews, Soni Gupta (Hotel’s Human Resource Manager) and Saurabh Tripathi (Placement Management Officer), informed the fourth-year students, Siddharth Tyagi, Shubham Tyagi, Arpit Verma, Vipin Kumar Moga, and Momin and third-year students, Kajal Aggarwal and Tanika Joshi about their selection. Placement Officer Saurabh Tripathi said that we are also striving to provide employment to students in five-star hotels in the country and abroad and that the best job arrangement will be provided to the students by the placement cell of Bhikaji Cama Subharti College of Hotel Management, Subharti University.
On this occasion, the Head of the Department of Hotel Management Prof. (Dr.) Shiv Mohan Verma wished students for their bright future and said that after COVID-19, in the changing environment, new possibilities of employment in the hospitality industry are coming up in a new form. Keeping in mind the health and safety of tourists, it is necessary to emphasize new skills and behaviour patterns. Prof. Verma said that the economic stagnation in the hospitality industry during COVID-19 is now slowly ending. The increasing trend of citizens towards tourism and travel is clearly indicating that in the coming times the hospitality industry will again create employment on a large scale. The head of the department also mentioned that Bhikaji Cama Subharti College of Hotel Management Department is committed to providing new employment opportunities for its students in the future also.
