Skill Development Program on “Cyclic Meditation Techniques on Stress Management”
A Skill Development Program on “Cyclic Meditation Techniques for Stress Management” was organized by the Maharishi Aurobindo Subharti College and Hospital of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, on 1st December 2025 from 10:00 AM onwards. The objective of the program was to enhance the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of students in stress management through yogic practices.
A total of 58 participants attended the training program.
The session was conducted by Dr. Niraj Nayan Rishi, Assistant Professor, MASCHNYS.
During the program, students were introduced to the theoretical aspects of Cyclic Meditation, followed by a practical demonstration of the technique. The session also included detailed explanations of the preliminary requirements for Cyclic Meditation, the types of asanas involved in the technique, their amplitude, duration, and post-meditation measures. Furthermore, the indications and contraindications of Cyclic Meditation were discussed to improve clinical understanding.
The resource person also highlighted various forms of asana therapy and their applications in different health conditions, thereby broadening the clinical knowledge of the participants.
The overall purpose of the program was to enhance students’ learning abilities and practical skills related to the clinical application of yogic techniques for patient care and stress management.
