A special lecture was organized by the Subharti Defense Academy for the students of Swami Vivekananda Subharti University at Mangalya Auditorium with the aim of motivating and guiding the students for recruitment in the Indian Army.
Colonel Rajesh Tyagi, Director, Captain Amrik Singh Subharti Defense Academy delivered the welcome address wherein he introduced Subharti Defense Academy and made everyone aware of its services. He stressed the point that the Army is the only recruiter in the service sector wherein a person gets to enjoy a balanced life with a sense of job security and perks such as security and health coverage for the entire family. He said that Subharti Defense Academy is committed to connecting the students of the country with the army in the national interest of Dr. Atul Krishna, founder of Subharti Group. He informed that in Subharti Defense Academy, along with the general course of army recruitment, graduate courses are also being conducted.
Keynote speaker Col. Ranjiv Singh, Director of Appointment, Army Headquarters, explained the process for recruitment in great detail to all the students. He said that the Indian Army is the name of discipline, patience, and service in which Mother India is served to protect the sovereignty and integrity of the nation. Referring to the various posts in the army, he said that every part of the army is special in itself, and service to the country is the primary aim of the army. Appreciating the Subharti Defense Academy, he said that the Subharti Group has been working dedicated to the nation, which is a source of inspiration for the entire country.
Major Nisha Singh, said that one must give the SSB exam once in a lifetime. She said that women have a special role in a strong army and Indian women have given an excellent example by putting their abilities to work in the army. She mentioned that the Indian Army is the only such service wherein one can pursue higher education while serving the nation.
The Chief Advisor of Subharti Defense Academy, Col. Dr. NK Ahuja said that the main objective of establishing Subharti Defense Academy is to provide employment to the students in the Army, SSB, NDA, Air Force, Navy, Coast Guard, and Para Military Forces. He said that the knowledge of the students is being enhanced by Subharti Defense Academy through written, physical and holistic development programs for challenging recruitment competitions along with graduate programs, to help connect the students with Indian Defense Services.
Major General Dr. GK Thapliyal, Vice-Chancellor of Subharti University thanked all the officers attending the special lecture and blessed all the students to do their best in their endeavors. He said that Subharti Defense Academy is committed to making skilled youths who want to defend the borders of the country.
At the conclusion of the event, the excited students lined-up to get their pictures clicked with the Army veterans and active members.
