Report on Student Visit to India Mobile Congress 2025
Students of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and Information Technology, Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET), Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, visited the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025 held at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi, on 8th and 11th October 2025.
The visit was organised under the guidance of Dr. Manoj Kapil, Dean and Principal, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, and Dr. Shravan Kumar Garg, Head of the Department, CSE/IT. The primary objective of this educational visit was to expose students to the latest advancements in mobile communication, artificial intelligence, satellite technology, and digital innovations showcased at India’s largest telecom and technology event.
Objectives of the Visit
The educational visit aimed to:
1. Provide practical exposure to cutting-edge technologies like 5G, 6G, AI, IoT, and Satellite Communication.
2. Enable students to interact with industry professionals, innovators, and startups.
3. Bridge the gap between academic learning and industrial application.
4. Motivate students towards research, innovation, and entrepreneurship in the field of digital communication and emerging technologies.
