Three students of Physical Education Department of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut increased the pride of the state, Mohitansh got “Best Official Award”
Teams from 20 states across the country participated in the National American Football Championship held in Hyderabad from 30 to 31 August 2025. In this exciting competition, the team of Uttar Pradesh displayed an excellent game and made the state proud by winning the bronze medal. Three talented players of the Physical Education Department of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut were selected in the winning team—

• Anurag (B.P.Ed.)
It was a matter of special pride that Mohitansh, a student of the university, was also awarded the “Best Official Award” for his exemplary contribution. University’s Chief Executive Officer Dr. Shalya Raj, Vice Chancellor Professor Pramod Kumar Sharma, Dean of Education Faculty and Head of Physical Education Department Lieutenant Professor (Dr) Sandeep Kumar, and all teachers congratulated the players and said that this achievement is the result of their hard work and dedication. They also expressed hope that in future also the students of Subharti University will fly the flag at national and international level in the same way.
