Training Programme on Professional Skills – Behavioral Skills for Non-Teaching Staff

Maharishi Aurobindo Subharti College and Hospital of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences (MASCHNYS), Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, successfully organized a Training Programme on Professional Skills – Behavioral Skills for the non-teaching staff on 08 July 2026. The programme was conducted by Dr. Abhijith K. B., Assistant Professor, MASCHNYS, with the objective of strengthening professional conduct, effective communication, teamwork, and interpersonal competencies among the participants.
The training was designed to enhance the behavioral and professional capabilities of non-teaching personnel, thereby promoting a positive, efficient, and service-oriented work environment. The resource person emphasized the significance of professional ethics, effective workplace communication, time management, stress management, teamwork, conflict resolution, customer service, and workplace etiquette. The session was delivered through interactive presentations, practical examples, and group discussions, enabling participants to relate the concepts to their routine institutional responsibilities.
Objectives of the Programme
- To enhance professional behavior and workplace competencies among non-teaching staff.
- To improve communication skills and interpersonal relationships for effective coordination.
- To strengthen teamwork, professional ethics, and accountability in institutional functioning.
- To develop time management, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
- To promote a respectful, positive, and service-oriented organizational culture that supports quality healthcare and academic services.
A total of 15 non-teaching staff members actively participated in the programme. The participants demonstrated enthusiastic involvement throughout the session by engaging in discussions, sharing workplace experiences, and participating in practical learning activities. The interactive approach facilitated a better understanding of behavioral competencies and their application in day-to-day professional responsibilities.
The programme concluded with a structured feedback session, during which participants reflected on their learning experiences and identified key takeaways for improving workplace performance and service delivery. Feedback indicated that the training enhanced awareness regarding professional conduct, communication, collaboration, and ethical workplace practices.
The programme was coordinated by Dr. Shruti Baid, Assistant Professor, MASCHNYS, who ensured the effective planning and smooth execution of the training.
Overall, the training programme was highly informative and impactful.
