Best out of waste simply means to make or to bring out something innovative and attractive from the material we do not use anymore, which we call waste. It works on the principles REUSE, RECYCLE and REDUCE. Keeping in mind the above statements, Crafter’s Club of Bhikaji Cama Subharti College of Hotel Management organized an Intra-College “Best out of Waste Competition” on the theme Regard before you Discard on 8th April 2022.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. Shiv Mohan Verma, HOI, Subharti College of Hotel Management by lamp lighting and Saraswati Vandana along with teachers & students. Senior faculties from the College of Fine Arts were invited as judges of the competition. Students of Hotel Management College took active participation and showcased their creativity in front of judges with a variety of useful and decorative items made from waste materials.
Results of the Competition:-
Ist Prize -Team-06 (Mr. Adnan Bhardwaj, Ms. Khuda Anndoni, Mr. Siddhartha Bhardwaj),
IInd Prize -Team-03 (Md. Arshad Raza, Mr.Sandeep Kumar, Mr. Abhay Kumar, Md. Arman Ali)
IIIrd Prize -Team-05 (Mr. Harshit, Mr. Mayank Singh, Km. Akansha).
A total of 22 students from Hotel Management College participated in this competition.
Ms. Garima Jain was the coordinator of the event. During the event, Dr. Dhananjay Srivastav, Mr. Indraneel Bose, Mr. Ankit Srivastava, Mr. Yajvendra Singh, Mr. Saurabh Tripathi & Mr. Shobhit Singh were present.
