Bhikaji Cama Subharti College of Hotel Management celebrated the 85th death anniversary of Madam Bhikaji Cama, Indian revolutionary on 13th August 2021 on a digital platform. Webinar was organized on the topic “Contribution of Madam Bhikaji Cama in Indian Freedom Struggle”. Eminent speaker Dr. Soumitra Mani Tripathi, Assistant Professor, Aryabhatta Gyan University, Patna explained about the life of Madam Cama and her contribution in the Indian Freedom struggle. Dr. Shiv Mohan Verma, Head of the Department of Hotel Management College welcomed the guests and all the attendees present on the digital platform.
Speaker informed that Madam Bhikaji Cama was inspired by Veer Savarkar and Dada Bhai Naraoji. She is known for hoisting the National flag of India for the first time on a foreign platform at the International Socialist Conference in Stuttgart, Germany.At the end of the guest lecture, Dr. Dhananjay Srivastav thanked the speaker for providing valuable time and thanked all the participants for attending this webinar.
