It’s a logical, systematic plan to resolve a research problem. A methodology details a researcher’s approach to the research to ensure reliable, valid results that address their aims and objectives. Dr. Kaynat Nasser suggested that Biostatistics and research methodology is a field that combines statistical methods with research methods to help researchers understand and analyze data in biomedical and public health research. Biostatistics is important in research because it helps to minimize bias, analyze random errors, and make precise inferences from data. Dr Sartaj Ahmad said that Field work is a qualitative research method that involves collecting data in a natural setting to understand people in their everyday lives. It’s also called field research or field studies. Fieldwork can be used to understand, People’s experiences, How a culture works, Relationships within a work environment and Social interactions of groups of people. However, it can provide insights into behaviors and processes that are difficult to get in a lab or experimental setting. Dr. Jitender Goel suggested that Research tools help researchers achieve their research objectives by facilitating data collection, analysis, and organization. They can be physical or digital, and the choice of tool depends on the research objectives and study requirements. Mrs Geeta Verma, Mr. Salman Mairaj, Dr. Manjeet Kaur, Mr.Dinesh Kumar, all faculty members and students of Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) programme of DIET center were present in the workshop.
