“Expert Lecture Organized Under the
Career Counseling Cell at Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut”
On 17th September 2024, a special lecture was organized by the Career Counseling Cell of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University. Mr. Harish Wadhwa, Chief Manager of State Bank of India (SBI), participated in this event as the keynote speaker.
This event was successfully conducted under the guidance of the Dean & Director of Aacharya Vishnu Gupta Subharti College of Management & Commerce, and Chair Person of University Career Council [UCC]. The program commenced with the keynote address by the chief guest, Mr. Harish Wadhwa, which provided valuable insights to the students regarding their career development.
In his special lecture, Mr. Harish Wadhwa provid in-depth information on significant topics related to career opportunities in the banking sector. He spoke about the job opportunities in both government and private banks, as well as the vast prospects in banking services globally. He also emphasized the importance of career counseling and how the right guidance at the right time helps students make informed decisions for better career options. Mr. Harish Wadhwa also explained how technological advancements are bringing changes in the banking sector and advised students to align their development with the evolving needs of the industry.
The Director, Prof. (Dr.) R.K. Ghai, acknowledged Mr. Wadhwa’s valuable experience and knowledge, and highlighted how the special lecture would greatly assist students in shaping their careers and planning for the future.
The event also included an interactive session where students asked Mr.Harish wadhwa several questions, to which he responded in a simple and motivating manner. His lecture provided an encouraging and knowledge-enriching experience for the students, inspiring them to enhance their awareness about their careers and increase their self-confidence.
The event Successfully proceed by Ms. Saba Hashmi & Mr. Umang Verma,[Asst. Prof.]. Around 450 students and faculties of different departments [ Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of hotel Management, Faculty of Communication, Faculty of Science and AVGSCMC] were participated in this event.
