Ragging has long been recognized as a significant issue in educational institutions, leading to severe physical, emotional, and psychological consequences for the victims. To combat this social menace and to promote a culture of awareness and proactive reporting, Bhikaji Cama Subharti College of Hotel Management organized a “Poster Making Competition” with the theme “Ragging – Don’t Support but Report.” This event aimed at encouraging students to express their thoughts creatively on the subject and to raise awareness against ragging within the college community. The competition was announced a week prior to the event, with notices circulated across the college campus and through digital platforms. The announcement generated considerable interest among the students, particularly those from the Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) and Master of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (MHMCT) first-year classes. The theme, “Ragging – Don’t Support but Report,” resonated strongly with the students, motivating them to participate and contribute their creative insights to the cause. The competition was held on 16th August 2024, beginning at 10:00 AM. The event was hosted at the main hall of Bhikaji Cama Subharti College of Hotel Management, which was adorned with posters and banners reflecting the theme of the competition. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm and a sense of responsibility as participants prepared to showcase their artistic talents.

A total of 20 students participated in the competition, representing various departments within the college. The participants were primarily first-year students from the BHMCT and MHMCT programs.
