Industrial Visit & Guest Lecture at JP Greens Resort & Spa, Noida

Bhikaji Cama Subharti College of Hotel Management (BCSCHM), Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, organized an Industrial Visit and Guest Lecture on “New Trends in Hotel Industry” at JP Greens Resort & Spa, Noida, on 24 September 2026. The programme commenced at 8:00 AM and provided students with direct exposure to contemporary hospitality operations and emerging developments in the hotel industry.
The visit was designed to bridge the gap between classroom-based theoretical learning and practical industry experience. Students had the opportunity to observe professional hospitality practices within an operational resort environment and develop a better understanding of how concepts studied in their academic curriculum are applied in real-world hotel operations.
As part of the programme, a guest lecture on “New Trends in Hotel Industry” was conducted. The session focused on changing practices, contemporary developments, and emerging trends influencing the modern hospitality sector. It provided students with an industry-oriented learning experience and complemented their practical exposure during the visit.
The programme also emphasized professional conduct and workplace readiness. Students were instructed to report on time, maintain proper grooming, wear the prescribed college uniform and tie, carry their valid identity cards, and demonstrate discipline and professional behaviour throughout the visit.
A total of 35 students participated in the industrial visit. The programme was coordinated by Dr. Nitin Gupta, Dr. Vikas Sharma, and Mr. Kamlesh Kumar Arya.
The visit enabled students to connect theoretical knowledge with actual hospitality operations and gain practical insight into professional standards, operational procedures, guest services, and contemporary industry requirements. The combination of the industrial visit and guest lecture provided both observational and conceptual learning opportunities.
The programme further supported the institution’s emphasis on experiential learning and industry–academia interaction. Direct exposure to a professional resort environment helped students understand the relationship between academic knowledge and operational practices, while the emphasis on grooming, punctuality, discipline, and professional conduct contributed to employability-oriented development.
The geotagged photographs included in the report document students participating in the session, group activities within the resort premises, interaction with hospitality personnel, and exposure to different resort facilities and operational environments. These visual records further document the practical and experiential nature of the visit.
The activity demonstrated the value of combining industrial exposure with expert-led learning in hospitality education. Such initiatives enable students to observe professional practices firsthand while developing a clearer understanding of contemporary industry expectations.
