WORKSHOP ON RESEARCH STATISTICAL TOOLS
Maharishi Aurobindo Subharti College and Hospital of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences (MASCHNYS), under Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, organized a Workshop on “Research Statistical Tools” on 2nd June 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Conference Hall, MASCHNYS.
The workshop was conducted with the objective of enhancing the knowledge and research skills of postgraduate students regarding the application of statistical tools in research methodology. The program was attended by postgraduate students of all academic years, providing them with valuable exposure to statistical concepts used in scientific research.
The resource person for the session was Dr. Kaynat Nasser, Assistant Professor, Department of Community Medicine, Subharti Medical College, Meerut, who delivered an insightful and informative lecture on various statistical tools and their practical applications in research. She explained the importance of statistics in research methodology, emphasizing its role in study design, data collection, data analysis, interpretation of results, and preparation of research papers.
During the session, Dr. Kaynat Nasser discussed commonly used statistical techniques and highlighted how appropriate statistical methods contribute to the reliability and validity of research findings. The workshop also provided participants with an understanding of the practical significance of statistical analysis in evidence-based healthcare research.
The session was interactive and engaging, allowing students to clarify their doubts and gain a deeper understanding of statistical applications in academic and clinical research.
Total No. of participants was 35 postgraduate students.
The workshop was coordinated by Dr. Anilka Sachdeva, Demonstrator, MASCHNYS, who ensured the smooth planning and successful execution of the program.
The workshop concluded successfully with active participation from students. The session proved to be highly informative and beneficial, providing practical insights into the importance of statistical tools in research and enhancing the research competencies of the participants.
