On the occasion of World Art Day, a two-day program was held today in the Fine Arts Department.
On the first day, April 14, a painting competition was organized, which saw maximum participation from the department’s students. The theme of the competition was “World Art Day,” in which students created artworks full of their artistic creativity.
On the second day, April 15, Assistant Professor Siddharth Tripathi from the department delivered a lecture on the theme of World Art Day. In his address, he discussed the importance of this day, the reason for its celebration, and key aspects related to Leonardo da Vinci’s life. After the lecture, certificates were presented to all participants by the department. The winning prize winners were given sketching kits as awards, sponsored by Vaagish Ji, founder of Inbidz. First prize went to Mohit Saini, second to Vikram Kumar, and third prize to Vidushi Sharma and Anmol Tyagi.
The entire event was graced by the Dean and Principal of the department, Prof. (Dr.) Pintu Mishra, and Vaagish Ji, along with Dr. Anshu Shrivastava, Dr. Pavnendra Tiwari, Mr. Krishna Kundara, Dr. Ashish Mishra, Mr. Lakshya Kumar, Mr. Divakar Bisht, Mr. Lucky Tyagi, Mr. Dharmraj Gupta, and Ms. Priyanka Singh from the department.
