Duration – Minimum three (03) Yrs.
Eligibility – at least 55% marks in post-graduation (wherever marks are allocated). For Medical subjects MD/MS/PG Diploma or MSc. Medical is a relevant subject.

Note: Relaxation of 5% marks in eligibility criteria for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-abled categories candidates will be given.

A. Residential Ph.D. Program Candidates under this category shall be appointed as Junior Research Fellow / Senior Research Fellow. They shall conduct research in Subharti Central Research & Incubation Center and/ or research laboratories of Departments of Subharti University. The JRF and SRF shall be paid fellowship allowance by S.V. Subharti University if not by another outside funding agency.
B. Non-residential Ph.D. Program –The regular faculty of Subharti University and outside candidates, registered for the Ph.D. program in Subharti University, shall fall within this category of Non-residential Ph.D. Program. These candidates shall be required to fulfill all eligibility criteria and qualify for the Entrance Examination, interview, and also other norms as laid down by the UGC from time to time, as well as the requirement of RAC.

The prescribed application form is available at the Registrar’s office or may be downloaded from the University website: Application Form, Duly filled application form (in hard copy) should reach Assistant Registrar (Academics) office along with required documents and non-refundable DD worth Rs. 1500/- (including test fee) in favor of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University payable at Meerut, latest by 28th February 2022. DATE & TIMINGS

The Entrance Test for Ph.D. programs will be conducted online on Monday the 14th March 2022 only.

Applications of non-eligible candidates & incomplete application forms will not be considered. Login details for Entrance Test will be issued only to eligible candidates & sent through email only.

Only qualified candidates for the Entrance Test will be called for an Interview, Merit List will be declared after the Interview. The date and time of the interview will be notified separately.

The applicants who have qualified UGC-JRF/CSIR/NET/SLET/GATE or M.Phil. are required to indicate accordingly in the application form for exemption from the written part of the Ph.D. Entrance Test.

TEST PATTERN

The Entrance Test shall be of hundred (100) multiple-choice questions. 50 questions shall be on Research Methodology, intended to assess the research aptitude of the candidate. The Remaining 50 questions will be from the subject for which the candidate is applying.
