Molecular Biology (PCR) Laboratory is a state of Art 24 x7 ISO:15189/2012 first NABL accredited laboratory of Western Uttar Pradesh that is attached to Central Lab, Chhatrapati Shivaji Subharti Hospital. The laboratory has been established as per the minimum standard requirement from MCI for setting up a BSL II lab in all medical colleges and has been approved by ICMR.
The molecular lab is equipped with all modern facilities to perform high-quality testing of biological specimens for better patient caregiving rapid and accurate reports for RTPCR Covid-19, PCR for tuberculosis, PCRTB-Rifampicin resistance, PCR for HBV, HCV, HPV, Dengue, Malaria, Salmonella, and HLAb27, etc.
The molecular biology lab has committed full time highly trained, dedicated, and experienced Medical microbiologists (MD) faculty members qualified from prestigious medical colleges of India with versatile skills and experience of work in Molecular virology along with trained technicians with experience and a good understanding of lab biosafety and biosecurity and trained for the handling of samples for viral diagnosis, RNA Extraction, and real-time PCR.
