15th Moot Court Competition

Under the supervision of Justice Rajesh Chandra, Hon’ble Director, and Prof. (Dr.) Reena Bishnoi, Officiating Dean-Faculty of Law, 15th Sardar Patel Subharti Moot Court Competition was organized by the Moot Court Association of Sardar Patel Subharti Institute of Law on 19th and 20th January 2026.

Day 1 – 19 January 2026

The event commenced with an inauguration ceremony and draw of lots, followed by Preliminary Rounds, conducted in two sessions.

The Judges for the Preliminary Rounds were-

  • Himanshu
  • Ifra
  • Aashtha
  • Anant
  • Priya
  • Vaibhav
  • In the preliminary Round, 9 teams presented their arguments from the appellant side and 10 presented from respondents. For the Semi Finals, only 4 teams shortlisted out of 19 as per the rules.

Day 2 – 20 January 2026

The Semi-Final Rounds were conducted with the following judges:

  • Himanshu & Mr. Anant
  • Ifra & Ms. Aashtha

Two teams argued from the appellant side and two from the respondent side, out of which 2 teams qualified for the Final Round.

The Final Round was adjudicated by:

  • Anurag Chaudhary, Assistant Professor
  • Parth Malhotra, Assistant Professor

The Winner of the Competition are-

  • Best Team:- Prakarti, Vyoam
  • Runner-Up Team:- Diya, Aarti

A team of 11 volunteers worked together on 19.01.2026 & on 20.01.2026 a team of 7 members volunteered.

  • Court-Masters/Volunteers- Om Thakur, Srishti Sirohi, Chetan Anand, Sana Shree, Lavi Malik, Vivek Upadhyay, Subuhi, George, Silvia, Sadhika, Romi Kataria on 19th January, 2026.
  • Lavi Malik, Chetan Anand, Sadhika and Sana Shree were court masters on 20th January, 2026.

Outcome of  the Activity:-

  • Students developed strong skills in legal research and memorial drafting.
  • Enhanced ability to argue legal issues with supporting case laws.
  • Improved courtroom etiquette, advocacy skills, and confidence.
  • Provided experiential learning aligned with professional legal practice.
  • Strengthened teamwork, discipline, and legal reasoning abilities among students.
