Career Counseling Session by Subharti Institute of Law
Sardar Patel Subharti Institute of Law conducted a Career Counseling session to sensitization students about the opportunities in legal profession, under the esteemed guidance of Hon’ble Justice Rajesh Chandra, Director (Former Judge, High Court of Judicature at Prayagraj), and Prof. (Dr.) Reena Bishnoi, Officiating Dean, Faculty of Law, in association with Legal Edge Institute. Ms. Neelam, corporate law professional guide the students about freelancing and land top internship. She told that Freelancing in law refers to legal professionals offering services independently, on a contract or project basis, instead of working as full-time employees in law firms, courts, or corporations. She told that who can work as a Legal Freelancer like Law graduates, Enrolled advocates (subject to Bar Council rules), Legal researchers, Contract drafters and reviewers, Compliance and documentation professionals. She also told about areas of Legal Freelancing, Legal research and writing, Contract drafting and review, Company law compliance’s, Intellectual Property services, LPO and legal support services, Legal content creation, Due diligence and documentation. She also told about the corporate legal drafting is a top demanding in present scenario and you should focused on your career because in law you have ample of opportunities, new companies are hiring the law professionals. Legal Process Outsourcing (LPO) refers to the practice where law firms, corporations, or legal departments outsource legal work to external service providers, often located in another country (commonly India).The client (foreign law firm / corporation) identifies legal tasks that can be outsourced and get the service and if you are expert in drafting than you can earn the money without going to any where. It is expected from you that you should have the knowledge of Law, specially when you are going for corporate lawyer than your corporate drafting must be excellent. Corporate drafting refers to the preparation of legal documents that govern the formation, management, transactions, and compliance of a company. Precise drafting is essential to ensure legal certainty, commercial clarity, and risk management.
