Bhikaji Cama Subharti College of Hotel Management with the Hotel Management Department of Manipal University, Jaipur jointly organized an online workshop on “Cocktails and Starters” on 23rd December 2021. The resource person for the workshop was Mr.Vinay Punia from Bhikaji Cama Subharti College of Hotel Management and Mr.Abhay Kashyap and Chef Aravind Rai from Manipal University, Jaipur.
During the workshop first session was hosted by Mr.Vinay Punia in which he informed all the participants about different types of cocktails like classic and contemporary and the various important elements required for the cocktails and different types of cocktails like ades, daisy, pousse, etc.
The second session was hosted by Mr. Abhay Kashyap from Manipal University in which he demonstrated to the participants about different cocktails like Whisky Toddy, Martini, Tequila Sunrise, and also about their garnish and serving styles. The question-answer round was answered by Mr.Abhay Kashyap.
After that third and last session was hosted by chef Aravind Kumar Rai in which he demonstrated delicious and mouthwatering starters like chicken satay and Fried chicken recipes and their classic and modern preparations.
After each session participants asked questions and clear their doubts with the instructors.
During the workshop, 255 participants were present online.
