A two days hands on training based workshop on the basics of Raspberry Pi was conducted in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Subharti Institute of Technology and Engineering on the 10th and 11th May 2019. The workshop addressed the practical implementations possible through Raspberry pi to solve engineering problems and also provided the students an opportunity to try and work on various circuits of their own in the Hands on session provided by the organizers.
The program was divided into various sessions which included presentations on the physical structure of Raspberry Pi along with the programming skills associated with python language followed by Hands on sessions where every student an opportunity to work on their circuits turn by turn to understand the practicality of the system.A total of 41 students attended the workshop The program was a success because of efforts from Er. Amit Kumar, Head of the Department and organizers Er. Supratim Saha and Er. Abhishek Kumar from ECE. Principal of the Institute, Dr.
Manoj Kapil lauded the effort taken by the Department and also congratulated the students for being part of the initiative.
