On 27th November-2025, an awareness program on “Nasha Mukt Bharat Kaushal Bharat Abhiyan” was organized by Subharti NCC unit in collaboration with the Department of Physical Education & University Sports Committee.
The primary aim of the Campaign is to tackle the issue of substance abuse and build a drug-free society in India through a comprehensive, community-led approach. The event was organized under the supervision of Secretary of University Sports Committee & Officiating ANO-NCC, Dr. Praveen Kumar & Assistant Professor, Department of Physical Education, Dr. Atul Tiwari, whose combined efforts ensured the meaningful execution of all activities planned for the same.
Cadets expressed their views through making some posters on the theme of a Drug-Free India. Which were reflected strong messages such as the dangers of substance abuse, the strength of self-discipline, and the importance of skill development for national progress.
All the participants and NCC cadets took a pledge to support the Nasha Mukt Bharat initiative. The pledge reaffirmed their commitment to staying away from drugs, encouraging peers to adopt healthy habits, and contributing positively to the community. This pledge created a sense of unity & responsibility. The awareness program also fostered creativity, discipline and leadership with the core values of NCC.
