A total of 12 participants, including 06 faculty members and 06 second-year postgraduate students from Maharishi Aurobindo Subharti College and Hospital of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences, attended the prestigious two-day National Conference on Naturopathy–2026, held February 5–6, 2026, at the Central Research Institute of Yoga and Naturopathy (CRIYN), Dever Khana, Jhajjar, Haryana. Jointly organized by the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY) and the Central Council for Research in Yoga & Naturopathy (CCRYN) under the Ministry of Ayush, the event’s theme was “Yoga & Naturopathy for a Stronger and Healthier You (SamYog).”
The conference was formally addressed by Shri Surander Sandhu, Assistant Director (Yoga) at CCRYN.Key highlights included keynote addresses on Yoga Nidra for psychotherapy (Dr. Vishwas Mandalik), managing diabetes via Yoga (Dr. Satish D. Pathak), and impactful Yoga research (Dr. Ramesh Bijlani). Sessions covered women’s health, lifestyle disorders, neurophysiology of meditation, and evidence-based integration of Yoga with modern medicine. A video message from Shri Prataprao Jadhav, Minister of State (Independent Charge), Ministry of Ayush, emphasized research and public awareness.
Also, Dr. Nair Dhiren Ajit, Officiating Principal & Dean, Faculty of AYUSH, Maharishi Aurobindo Subharti College & Hospital of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, participated as a distinguished panelist in the key discussion titled “Yoga & Naturopathy: Integration with Conventional Care – Current Status in India and Globally, Challenges, and Action Plan.” during the event.
The event proved highly informative and enriching, enhancing participants’ academic knowledge, clinical understanding, and professional outlook in yoga and naturopathy. The overall conference was coordinated seamlessly by the CRIYN team & Dr Adil, Assistant Professor, MASCHNYS.
