The All India Inter-University 3×3 Basketball Tournament commenced on 24 March at Swami Vivekanand Subharti University with great enthusiasm and participation from universities across India.
The Chief Guest of the event was Major General Deep Ahlawat Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Major Dhyan Chand Sports University Meerut. Distinguished guests included Faizal Khan National basketball player, Honey Siringi international player, Virendra Rathi national kabbadi coach, and Vishal Gupta international basketball player.
The Chief Guest and other dignitaries were felicitated by CEO SVSU Dr. Shalya Raj, Dean of FOE Lt. Professor Dr. Sandeep Kumar, Head of physical education department Dr. Manju Adhikari, and Sports Secretary of SVSU Dr. Praveen Kumar.
The host team SVSU made an impressive start by winning both of their matches on Day 1.
