Department of Periodontology & Implantology celebrated World Oral Health Week with formation of Human Chain on the theme “A Happy mouth…. is a Happy Life” on 20th March 2026, at Subharti Dental College and Hospital, Meerut under the aegis of Indian Society of Periodontology, and under the dynamic leadership of Dr. Nikhil Srivastava Principal and Dean and Head of the Department Dr. Mayur Kaushik, Subharti Dental College and Hospital, Meerut.
The poster-making activity for Undergraduates students organised showcased creativity and awareness, highlighting key messages on oral hygiene, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle practices. The Participants were judged by Dr. Vineeta Nikhil Prof & Head, Department of Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics, Dr. Pradeep Raghav Prof & Head, Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, Dr. Vijay Wadhwan Prof & Head, Department of Oral Pathology and Microbiology.
In addition, a human chain formation was conducted, symbolizing unity and a strong commitment towards spreading awareness about oral health in the community.
