LEGAL LITERACY AND AWARENESS SESSION ORGANIZED BY SUBHARTI LAW COLLEGE
Sardar Patel Subharti Institute of Law organized a comprehensive Legal Literacy and Awareness Session at BALE RAM BRIJBHUSHAN INTER COLLEGE, MEERUT. The session organized by Sardar Patel Subharti Institute of Law, in collaboration with the District Legal Services Authority, organized a comprehensive Legal Awareness Program at Bale Ram Brijbhushan Inter College, on 30th April 2026. The initiative aimed to sensitize students on key legal subjects, including the POCSO Act, the importance of law in daily life, fundamental rights, and future career opportunities in the legal domain.
The program witnessed the distinguished presence of Hon’ble Justice Rajesh Chandra, Former Judge of the High Court of Judicature at Prayagraj, whose insightful address inspired students toward deeper legal awareness and responsible citizenship. Smt. Namrata Singh, Secretary, DLSA Meerut, also motivated the participants by highlighting the role of legal literacy in empowering society.
In addition to the impactful lectures were delivered by Dr. Sarika Tyagi , She told about the importance of law and its role in the day to day life. She also told about the different branches of law and career path in legal domain further Miss Sonal Jain, who guided students on constitutional values, child safety laws, and the relevance of understanding one’s rights from a young age. Their interactive sessions helped simplify complex legal concepts and encouraged students to engage actively with the subject.
