The MoU signing ceremony was held on 2nd June 2026 at the Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department, Lucknow, in the gracious presence of Hon’ble Minister of Culture, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Jaiveer Singh Ji; Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of SVSU, Prof. (Dr.) Pramod Kumar Sharma Ji; Prof. Jayant Khit Ji, Chairman, Uttar Pradesh Sangeet Natak Academy; Dr. Vibha Singh Ji, Vice-Chairperson, UPSNA; Dr. Shobhit Kumar Nahar Ji, Director, UPSNA; Prof. Pintu Mishra Ji, Dean, Faculty of Fine Arts, SVSU; and Prof. Bhawna Grover Ji, Head, Department of Performing Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts, SVSU.
The occasion was marked by fruitful discussions on various initiatives for the preservation, promotion, documentation, and dissemination of India’s rich traditions of Music and Dance. This collaboration will provide a strong platform for academic, cultural, and artistic exchange, benefiting students, researchers, artists, and the wider cultural community.
Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Uttar Pradesh Sangeet Natak Academy, Ministry of Culture, Uttar Pradesh Upsna Lucknow and the Department of Performing Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut.
