The themes were thoughtfully selected to create awareness about India’s freedom struggle, the contribution of great national leaders, patriotism, good character, youth participation, and the responsibilities of a true citizen.

Students were invited to prepare paintings on any one of the following themes: Portrait of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose; Parade Scene of the Azad Hind Fauj; The Message of “Jai Hind”; Sacrifice of the Freedom Fighters; The Tricolour and Patriotism; Good Character – The Mark of a Good Citizen; Patriotism and Youth; and What Makes a True Citizen? – Pictorial Representation.
