Seminar on Women’s Safety and Awareness Organized at MASCHNYS
Meerut, 9 September 2026: A seminar on “Women’s Safety and Awareness” was organized on 9 September 2026 at the Maharishi Aurobindo Subharti College & Hospital of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (MASCHNYS), Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut.
The seminar was organized with the objective of creating awareness among women and students about personal safety, precautionary measures, and ways to protect themselves in public places. The participants were encouraged to remain alert and aware of their surroundings and were guided on how to respond appropriately to potentially unsafe situations while travelling or moving through public spaces.
The resource person, Dr. Seema Dixit, Associate Professor, MASCHNYS, shared valuable information and practical guidance on various aspects of women’s safety. She emphasized the importance of self-awareness, confidence, vigilance, and timely action in preventing and handling unsafe situations. She also encouraged the participants to be aware of their rights and responsibilities and to take appropriate steps whenever they feel unsafe.
The session was coordinated by Dr. Simran Malhotra, Demonstrator, MASCHNYS, who facilitated the smooth conduct of the programme and encouraged active participation throughout the session.
The seminar provided an informative and interactive platform for the participants to understand the importance of women’s safety and awareness. The programme concluded with a message encouraging everyone to prioritize personal safety, support one another, and contribute towards creating a safer and more aware society.
