A One- Day Workshop on ‘Stress Management and Adaptive Skills’
The Department of Liberal Arts and Humanities organized a One- Day workshop on “Stress Management and Adaptive Skills” On 27th February 2023. The objective of the workshop was to release the Stress at work that lead employee and students to decreased productivity. The workshop was organized for B A and M A Students of The Department of Liberal Arts and Humanities.
The workshop started with inaugural speech of Dr. Sudhir Tyagi, Dean Faculty of Arts and Social Science. He introduced students and faculties the mantra of skill of stress management and motivated them to live a happy and healthy life without stress. Dr. Manoj Kumar Tripathi, Head of the Department of Liberal Arts and Humanities delivered a welcome speech and inspired students to live without tension. He connected the workshop with the Wellness Centers of Subharti University and promised to provide time to time consultation to create stress free atmosphere so that the holistic development of students may take place. Dr. Rafat Khanam, Associate professor, Department of language remained the speaker and event organizer of the day. She introduced the common stressors of the life and discussed the emotional, physical, behavioral and cognitive symptoms of Stress. She discussed the coping mechanism so that students and facilitators may live cheerful life. She made them familiar with the adaptive techniques like breathing, Yoga, reading Novel, Stories, and do rather think etc. Students discussed their daily and college life problems and got a solution and reciprocated that these techniques are really helpful in making life and work free of stress to achieve the academic attainments. Ms. Tripti Sharma, B A II semester student performed the anchoring very aesthetically.
Dr. Harish, Dr. Durvesh, Dr. Neha, Dr. Ankit , Dr. Amit, Dr. manas Kandi remained the coordinator of the program. Dr. Shobha Ratudi, Ms. Vibha grace the program with their presence. in the program. The Workshop ended with the formal vote of thanks. Dr. Manoj Kumar Tripathi, Head of the Department of Liberal Arts and Humanities, thanked everybody and the program ended with the desired goal and vigor and energy of the students.
