Report of “One Day Workshop on Research Methodology” held at Bhikaji Cama Subharti College of Hotel Management on 25-02-2023.
Research is the careful consideration of study regarding a particular concern or problem using scientific methods. According to the American sociologist Earl Robert Babbie, “research is a systematic inquiry to describe, explain, predict, and control the observed phenomenon. It involves inductive and deductive methods.”
With this thought in mind, Bhikaji Cama Subharti College of Hotel Management organised “One Day Workshop on Research Methodology” for Research Scholars & Faculties.
The workshop started at 10:00 AM with a welcome note by Mr. Indraneel Bose, Assistant Professor, BCSCHM. The resource person of the session was Dr.Sidhi Verma, ITS College Ghaziabad.
During the session, Dr. Sidhi Verma discussed the fundamentals of Research & Various Methods. She gave an excellent presentation on Research Methodology which was extremely informative. She further explained about the usage of SPSS & AMOS. Participants got hands-on training on data analysis.
After the end of presentation Question-Answer round was there where participants cleared their doubts related to research.
Vote of thanks was given by Dr. Dhananjay Srivastav where he thanked the resource person Dr.Sidhi Verma for providing her valuable time to make this workshop interesting and valuable for the research scholars & faculty members. He also thanked the organising team for making this event a grand success.
