The Alumni Association of Kharvel Subharti College of Pharmacy, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut organized “ALUMNI MEET 2021”- a program to facilitate, consolidate and coordinate Alumni Activities on 29th October 2021. The alumni meet was arranged to reconnect with the Alumni and celebrate their success and various achievements. The Alumni started arriving in College by 10.00 am. and they were received by the registration team and they have been asked to fill the registration form. The Alumni Meet started with a welcome address by Dr. Sokindra Kumar, Principal KSCP. The meeting was graced by the Pro-Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Vijay Wadhwan also motivated and facilitated for registration of more alumni. Er. Atul Pratap Singh, Principal, Subharti Polytechnic College has also graced the occasion. Thirty-five Alumni from various locations across the country participated and shared their memories. Dr. Faizi Muzaffar, Associate Professor KSCP Alumni Association, the coordinator has briefed about KSCP Alumni Association activities. Following faculty members joined the event, Dr. Lubhan Singh, Dr. Ganesh Prasad Mishra, Dr. Rupesh Pandey, Dr. Vikrant Verma, Mr. Prabhat Singh, Mr. Amit Kumar, Ms. Parkhi Rastogi, and all other faculty of KSCP participated in the event.
OBJECTIVES
- To provide a forum to establish a link between the alumni, faculty, staff, and students of the institute and to help interaction between past and present students of this institute.
- To contribute towards the welfare of the alumni.
- To assist the alumni with their technical difficulties.
- To bring awareness among students about the career opportunities available in Industries.
- To create awareness to all year’s students with the latest technology and trends in the market.
- To create awareness regarding the progress of the college and placements and suggestions from Alumni for the academic progress of students and institute.
- To give an opportunity to alumni to express their views about college.
Following suggestions/feedback were given by the Alumni
- Increase guest lectures from industry personnel.
- To update library facilities & canteen facilities.
- Support for extra-curricular activities.
- Support for sports activities.
- Increase Industrial visits by students.
OUTCOMES
The event was stimulating and enjoyable and simultaneously profitable as all members shared their views ideate and good numbers of new ideas, information, and insights came up. The association is hopeful to run and successfully structure and position itself into a fully functional global platform for Subharti Alumni.
The alumni Association sincerely expressed its gratitude to the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive Officer SVSU for their guidance and support to make this event a grand success.
