The Department of Languages, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at Swami Vivekanand Subharti University organized an important one-day workshop on the topic “Result Analysis of Attainment of Results with CO-PO Mapping” on June 13, 2024. The workshop commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp in front of the image of Goddess Saraswati by all participating teachers and experts, including special guests and the department head. Dr. Neeru Singh, Assistant Professor in the Zoology Department, Faculty of Science at Swami Vivekananda University, Meerut, was the keynote speaker of the workshop.
In her introductory and welcome address at the workshop, Dr. Seema Sharma, Head of the Language Department, emphasized the importance of the workshop and congratulated and felicitated all the participating teachers and experts. She stated that the main objective of the workshop is to understand and analyze the process of course outcomes and program outcomes for the key departments and faculties.
Speaking about the objectives and importance of the workshop, the department head said that this workshop is extremely useful for us, and we must understand its importance and bring expertise and skill in our teaching accordingly. On this occasion, the department head presented a floral tribute to the distinguished expert, symbolizing the tradition of Indian culture. Subsequently, Dr. Neeru Singh presented her detailed analysis on the main topic of the workshop, CO-PO mapping results analysis, through a digital slideshow using PPT.
The expert explained the process of this subject at each level with great ease and depth, educating all the attending teachers and answering their curious questions satisfactorily. The specialist explained that the purpose of this workshop is to adopt the process of teaching in a better way and to understand both the course outcomes and program outcomes, which are important concepts in education, so that we can analyze education effectively at every level. The main speaker illustrated the accessibility of this analysis through her charts and reports to all the teachers present.
During the Q&A session of the workshop, all the teachers solved their problems through their complete questions, discussing the main topic and practical results. Speaking on this occasion, Senior Professor Rajeshwar Pal of the Language Department said that this workshop has been very inspiring and useful for us, and we will have to learn more about its practical aspects. The workshop was not very successful, but considering its practical aspect, it would be appropriate to organize such a workshop again in the coming time. Finally, Dr. Rafat Khanam thanked the main speaker of the workshop and addressed everyone, requesting the Chairman to organize such a workshop once a month for the benefit of all teachers.
In this workshop, all the teachers of the Language Department, Prof. Rajeshwar Pal, Dr. Ranvir Singh, Dr. Manisha luthara, Swati Sharma, Dr. Anuj, Dr. Farah Hashmi, along with Dr. Pallabi Mukherjee, Dr. Sanjay and Dr. Shrida from Buddhist College, from the Department of Liberal Arts, Dr. Niyati Garg, and Rubi were actively participate. The program was conducted by Dr. Shobha Ratudi and concluded with a group photo session.
