Ambedkar Jayanti Celebration

The Department of Paramedical Sciences has organized a Special Lecture as part of the fortnightly celebration of Ambedkar Jayanti, titled “The Role of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar in the Framing of the Constitution of India.” The session was held on 17th April 2025 at 2:00 PM for all students of the department.

The lecture aimed to explore the socio-political conditions of India during the drafting of the Constitution. It was delivered by Ms. Ana Sisodia, Assistant Professor at Sardar Patel Subharti Institute of Law.  Head of Department, Dr. Pankaj Kishor Mishra, warmly felicitated the guest by presenting a sapling as a token of appreciation.

Ms. Sisodia highlighted that how Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s vision of social justice, equality, and democracy laid the foundation for the Indian Constitution. She discussed in detail key provisions such as Fundamental Rights, the abolition of untouchability, and the principle of equality before the law. The lecture was both informative and inspiring, helping students grasp the relevance of constitutional values in contemporary India.

The event served as a significant platform for spreading awareness about the Indian Constitution and its impact on society. In conclusion, Dr. Pankaj Kishore Mishra expressed gratitude to the guest speaker for her insightful session and extended best wishes for her future endeavours.

On this occasion Dr. Umesh Kumar, Dr. Meenakshi Mishra, Mr. Pushpendra Singh Rajput, Ms. Shmriti, Mr. Navdeep Singh, Mr. Vishwanath Pratap Singh, ,Mrs. Khushi Kansal, Mr. Vishant Pal, Mrs. Shivani and Mr. Sayyam Thakur, were present.
