The Faculty of Management and Commerce, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, organized a Basant Panchami Hawan on 23rd January 2026 to mark the auspicious occasion dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, the deity of knowledge, wisdom, and learning.
The program was coordinated by the Cultural Incharge, Dr. Nisha Singh, under the able guidance of the Officiating Dean, Prof. (Dr.) Padma Misra. The sacred Hawan was performed in a serene and devotional atmosphere within the Faculty premises, invoking blessings for academic excellence, harmony, and prosperity.
The occasion was further graced by the Respected CEO, Dr. Shalya Raj, whose gracious presence and blessings added immense value and inspiration to the event. Faculty members and students of the Faculty of Management and Commerce actively participated in the ceremony with devotion and enthusiasm.
The program concluded with collective prayers and prasad distribution, fostering a sense of spiritual unity and cultural enrichment among all present. The event successfully reinforced the importance of Indian traditions and values in academic life.
