“Batukeshwar Dutt Punyatithi”
A one-day programme on Batukeshwar Dutt Punyatithi was successfully organized by the Maharishi Aurobindo Subharti College and Hospital of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences (MASCHNYS), Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, on 18 July 2026.
The programme was conducted at LT-4, 2nd Floor, MASCHNYS, with the objective of paying tribute to the great Indian freedom fighter Batukeshwar Dutt and creating awareness among students about his invaluable contribution to India’s freedom struggle. The event aimed to inspire participants with the ideals of patriotism, courage, sacrifice, and national service exemplified by this great revolutionary.
The programme commenced with a welcome address, followed by a floral tribute to Batukeshwar Dutt. Dr. Gaurav Pathak, Assistant Professor (MASCHNYS), served as the Resource Person and delivered an insightful lecture highlighting the life, revolutionary activities, and sacrifices of Batukeshwar Dutt. He emphasized the importance of preserving the legacy of India’s freedom fighters and encouraged students to imbibe the values of dedication, integrity, and selfless service toward the nation.
Objectives of the Programme
- To pay tribute to the great freedom fighter Batukeshwar Dutt on his Punyatithi.
- To create awareness about his life, contributions, and sacrifices in India’s freedom movement.
- To inspire students with the values of patriotism, courage, and national service.
- To encourage respect for the nation’s rich historical and cultural heritage.
- To motivate participants to uphold the ideals of responsibility and dedication toward society and the nation.
A total of 40 participants actively attended the programme. The event was coordinated by Dr. Kh. Geetarani Devi, Assistant Professor and Programme Coordinator (MASCHNYS), who ensured the smooth and successful execution of all activities. Participants attended the session with great enthusiasm and actively interacted during the discussion, reflecting their keen interest in the life and contributions of the great freedom fighter.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks. Overall, the event successfully commemorated the life and sacrifices of Batukeshwar Dutt while inspiring participants to uphold the values of patriotism, dedication, integrity, and selfless service toward the nation.
