Best NCC Cadet Award to Subhartian

S.U.O. Prabhat Kumar Singh, a student of Bhai Jaita Subharti Engineering
College has been awarded the Best Cadet Award by NCC Meerut Group. The award was conferred by Col. Manish Dhawan and Sub. Maj. Krishna Kumar of 70 UP Bn National Cadet Corps, Meerut. A cheque of 4500 was also awarded to Prabhat for his outstanding participation.

Prabhat has been an illustrious Subhartian besides being a senior NCC cadet he has also led the under 19 football team as the captain at the national level in 2016. He has represented the university football team thrice and achieved the 1st position in Open Football Championship held at IIMT University, Meerut in 2020.

I will always be grateful to the Associate NCC Officer/CTO, Dr. Sandeep Kumar sir for his support and kindness. For giving me such opportunities as my mentor and guide. Also, I am thankful to my all NCC Instructors and cadets for making me the Best.

Other achievements by Prabhat in NCC are:

1. Received certificates twice from Smt. Anandi Ben Patel, Hon’ble Governor of Uttar Pradesh in the Guard of honour to Her Excellency in 2021.
2. Appointed as Cadet Senior Under Officer in Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, 70 UP BN NCC Meerut.
3. He was selected for the prestigious National Camp and represented Uttar Pradesh Directorate Contingent in PRE- RDC-2022 in the RAJPATH event.
4. Prabhat has performed multiple Special Guard of Honour to Hon’ble Governor of U.P, Deputy CM of U.P, Ministers and Generals of Indian Armed Forces as a Guard Commander.
5. He received a certificate of appreciation from the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of Subharti University, Meerut for contributing to “Parakram Diwas”.
6. He was a part of the management team during the foundation stone ceremony for Maj. Dhyan Chand Sports University by the Hon’ble Prime Minister – Shri Narendra Modi.
7. Attended 5 camps in NCC training, participated in competitions and received Best Firing, Best Guard Commander, and Best individual Drill awards.
8. Represented NCC Meerut Gp Contingent to IGC level at Panchsheel Balak Inter College Noida in 2021 as a Commander.
