The Farewell party was organized by the students of BA.LL.B. (Batch 2018) & LL.M. (Batch 2021) of the Faculty of Law, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut to the students of BA.LL.B. (Batch 2017) & LL.M.(Batch 2020). The program started with the welcome of the invitee viz. dignitaries, authorities, and the students of BA.LL.B.& LL.M. final year students. The welcome of the guests was done by the students – Vidhi, Priti, Shrishti Bhardwaj, Shagun Sharma, and Mona of BA.LL.B IV Year by applying teeka of roli on the foreheads of the guests following the traditional Indian way and with a token of love and respect.
Hon’ble Chief Executive Officer of Subharti University, Prof. (Dr.) Shalya Raj, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Major General Prof. (Dr.) G. K. Thapliyal, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Abhay Shankargowda along with Hon’ble Director, Justice Rajesh Chandra, Faculty of Law, SVSU, and Prof. (Dr.) Vaibhav Goel Bhartiya, Dean Faculty of Law, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut were welcomed by the students by presenting a sapling as per the university’s common practice of environmental protection.
The program was inaugurated by the Honorable Vice-Chancellor, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Director of the Faculty of Law, and Dean, Faculty of Law along with all the teachers by lighting the lamp before Goddess Saraswati.
In her address, Hon’ble CEO Madam said that “As you leave college, I just want to thank you for being amazing students, putting in the necessary effort, studying, and giving your best while at it. I wish you all the best”. After this Honourable Vice-Chancellor Major General (Dr.) G.K. Thapliyal while addressing the students, said that the knowledge acquired in the student’s life will be useful for the whole of your life, so use this precious time to acquire more and more knowledge. He wished all the students good luck for their bright future. We shall be proud whenever we will hear your name when you will achieve something in your life. In his address, Hon’ble Pro Vice-Chancellor said that “May you have a successful career ahead. Thank you for all the wonderful moments that you blessed us with. The dedication you showed throughout your student life is unimaginable. There is no doubt that this dedication will take you to a new height in life. Farewell!” Hon’ble Director of Subharti Law College, Former Justice Rajesh Chandra said that the field of law always keeps you a student, hope all of you as law students will be disciplined in the future and build your dreams and your life. The things you have learned so far will always guide you towards a bright tomorrow. We will always remember you. Education does not stop you from making mistakes but it inspires you to take lessons from your mistakes. May you have a shining future ahead. Dean, Faculty of Law, Prof. (Dr.) Vaibhav Goel Bhartiya said that Life is not a bed of roses but neither are you naïve. You are wise, skilful, and sophisticated enough to handle the hurdles of life. Always keep up the dedication and sincerity. Always strive to be the best in whatever you do. Be humble and let your actions speak for you. May you be blessed with success and glory.
The program was conducted by Neha Singh and Riya Agarwal of B.A.LL.B. IV Year. During the program, students showed their skills through dance, singing, poetry, and fun games. Vidhi Premi, Deepshikha, Shardha Sherpa, Sherab Dorji, Manglam Gupta, Diya, Aditi, Aarti Goel Shubhangi, Muskan, Sneha, Kumari Aakanksha Rai, all the students of BA.LL.B actively participated in various cultural activities. During the program Dr. Manoj Kumar Tripathi, Dr. Reena Bishnoi, Dr. Sarika Tyagi, Dr. Ashutosh Garg, Afreen Almas, Vikas Tyagi, Anna Sisodia, Anjum Jahan, and Shalini Goel, were present.
The non-teaching staff of Subharti Law College made all their best efforts for the success of this event. For this graceful event Shivani Agarwal, Ashutosh Sharma, Usabh jain, Bhavini Kaushalya, Deepshikha, Adnan, Rishabh, Shrishti Bhardwaj, Mona, Vidhi, Priti Taliyan were the organizers, without whom special efforts this program could not take its shape.
