In extension to the World Physiotherapy Week 6th to 11th September 2021 Jyotirao Phule Subharti College of Physiotherapy, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut organized free physiotherapy camp in “The Pratibha International School”, Rithani on 11th September 2021.
The camp was organized for school students, teaching and non-teaching staff, and people living nearby the school. Dr. Kayinat Hassan, Dr. Avnika Singh, and Dr. Gaurav Pratap Tyagi along with their Post Graduate students and interns assessed the students and patients and gave them physiotherapy advice and treatment. Dr. Kayinat Hassan discussed the adverse effects of heavy backpacks and the problems children face during growing age. General mobility and stretching exercises were taught to the students.
The camp ended with the vote of thanks given by the school Principal Mr. Lokesh Pal expressing his gratitude for conducting the camp in his school.
With the end of this Camp “The Physiotherapy Week” ended and all programs were well-conducted under the guidance of Dr. Jasmine Anandabai, Principal & Associate Professor, Jyotirao Phule Subharti College of Physiotherapy, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut.
