On 16th September, an alumni lecture was organized by the Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University on the topic ‘Career, Scope and Opportunities in Radio Jockey’ in the Multipurpose Hall of the department. She further elaborated about Radio, its objectives, what makes it different from other media platforms, importance of languages in radio, and about the career scopes one can aim at for becoming a Radio Jockey. Prof.(Dr.) S. C. Thaledi – Head of Department of Journalism and Mass Communication later delivered his speech on the topic “Career, Scope and Opportunities in Radio Jockey”. He told about when FM radio was launched in India and the working of FM radio. He further added about the importance of Community Radio Station.
