Chandrayaan Utsav 2023: Poster Presentation

As per the UGC, Ministry of education, Govt. of India, letter dated 01 September, 2023/10 भाद्रपद 1945. The Department of Liberal Arts and Humanities celebrated Chandrayaan Utsav to witness that India has made history as its Chandrayaan-3 became the first to land on the South Pole region of the moon on 23rd August 2023. Beyond its scientific impact, this holds the promise of inspiring young minds to join the realm of space exploration and science.
The Poster Presentation was conducted on various themes – ‘India on Moon’, ‘New India on Moon’, ‘Moon is not far away’, ‘Lunar Journey of New India’, ‘Self Reliant India’s Chandrayaan’ etc.
The program started with the welcome address by Dr. Rafat Khanam, Associate Professor, Department of languages, FASS, SVSU. Dr. Rafat Khanam informed that the objective of the Chandrayyan Utsav is to fulfill the goal of the government to encourage the students and faculty members about the realm of space, exploration, science and the achievement of India.
Dr. Manoj Kumar Tripathi and Dean, FASS blessed students with their blessing to achieve success in career and in life.
Students of B A and M A actively participated in the Utsav by drawing, painting and presenting the chandrayaan posters on given themes. Pema Dechen, Nikita Sirohi, Shaista, Nabiha Haider, Sadaf , Payal Sahai, Damini, Chhavi , Devika singh, Nishant Pradhan, Yeyati Raj, Janvi, Mansi Uttam made beautiful poster. Students one by one presented their posters and got the applause from the audience.
Dr. Harish Kumar, Associate Professor, SDLH, FASS, SVSU announced the result. Pema Dechen and Nikita Sirohi, Students of B A II year was scored Ist position, Devika Singh B A I Semester got II position, III position was secured by Payal Sahai, B A III year student and Damini B A II year student. The consolation prize was given to Shaista and Mansi Uttam M A I year student. During the Poster Presenation Dr. Amit , Dr. Ankit, Dr. Neha, Dr. Niyati, Dr. Manas were present. All the faculty members admired the art and drawing talent of students. The program ended with the formal vote of thanks.
