Children’s Day Celebration

Every year November 14 is celebrated as Children’s Day in remembrance of First Prime Minister Jawahar Lal Nehru of India, born on November 14, 1889, he was also known as Pandit Nehru. November 14 marks Nehru’s devotion to children’s and young people’s welfare, education, and development. No matter how a person grown-up, parents and teachers remain children.

Taking into account, a day to mark happiness, and to make it more beautiful and memorable for our students, Shaheed Baba Deep Singh Department of Home Science celebrated Children’s Day on 14 November 2022. The day focused on students and their enjoyment. The day was commemorated with immense joy, enthusiasm, and magnificence.

The teachers made Children’s Day special for their students by involving them in various games and activities. After the cake-cutting ceremony, all had lunch together. All the students were overwhelmed and enjoyed the day a lot.
