Children’s Day Gathering Hosted by the Department of Languages
Meerut, November 14, 2024 – The Department of Languages within the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at Swami Vivekanand Subharti University commemorated Children’s Day with significant enthusiasm and engagement. The celebration began with a lamp-lighting ceremony, conducted by the students of the Department of Languages, symbolizing enlightenment and knowledge. Following this, Dr. Seema Sharma, Head of the Department, along with other faculty members, delivered inspiring messages. In honoring Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the event underscored the significance of Children’s Day, which is observed annually on November 14th to mark the birth anniversary of India’s first Prime Minister.
