Dhahi Handi Competition Organized by the Department of Physical Education
Meerut, 04 September 2026: The Department of Physical Education, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, organized a vibrant and enthusiastic Dhahi Handi Competition on 04 September 2026 at Madan Mohan Malviya Ground as part of the department’s creative and cultural activities.
The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students who showcased their teamwork, coordination, creativity, sportsmanship and cultural spirit. The event provided students with an opportunity to celebrate the traditional spirit of Dhahi Handi while fostering unity, cooperation and healthy competition. The energetic participation of the students created a lively and joyful atmosphere at the ground.
The event was successfully coordinated by the Event Cultural Coordinator, Ms. Deepanshu Choudhary, with the valuable guidance and support of Dr. Manju Adhikari, Head, Department of Physical Education.
The department sincerely acknowledges the valuable support and cooperation of Dr. Praveen Kumar, Dr. Deepak Raghav, Dr. Ankit Singh Jadon, Dr. Nishant Kumar, Mr. Sharad Panwar, Mr. Subham Rathi, Mr. Sanjith T.K and Mr. Sartaj Khan, whose active involvement and coordination contributed significantly to the successful organization of the competition.
The department also extends its heartfelt gratitude to the respected Dean, Faculty of Education, Dr. Pintu Mishra for his valuable guidance, encouragement and continuous support.
The event concluded successfully in a joyful and energetic atmosphere. The Department of Physical Education appreciated the enthusiasm and active participation of all the students and faculty members making the Dhahi Handi Competition a memorable and successful cultural celebration.
