Dance and Skit competition
Acharya Vishnu Gupt Subharti College of Management and commerce in Collaboration with University Gender Sensitization Cell has organized a Dance and Skit competition on 8.4.2025 at Pandit Ravishankar Auditorium, SIFF
The Dance Competition was on the theme: “Unleashed”: Celebrating self-expression and breaking free from societal constraints related to gender and Skit Competition on the theme: “Choosing a Path” – Societal pressure on girls to pursue certain careers and boys to pursue others.
The Guest of Honour of the programme was Prof. (Dr.) Pintu Mishra Dean-SIFF and Prof. (Dr.) R.K. Ghai Dean FoMC and Director AVGSCMC. The Judges were Dr. Shweta Choudhary and Ms. Nishi Chouhan from department of performing Arts, SIFF. The program Began with the lighting of the lamp followed by presenting a sapling to the dignitaries.
The students of Faculty of Nursing, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Liberal Art and Humanities, Faculty of Management and Commerce, Faculty of Pharmacy, and Faculty of Engineering and Technology participated in the program.
The winners of the Dance competition are Faculty of Fine Arts students and the winners of the Skit competition were Faculty of Fine Arts students won first prize, Second prize was bagged by Faculty of Science and third prize won by Management and Commerce college in dance competition. In skit competition first prize won by Kharvel Subharti college of Pharmacy and second prize was bagged by Faculty of Science.
The programme was conducted by Dr. Sarika, nodal officer AVGSCMC. All faculty members of AVGSCMC and nodal officers of participating colleges were present during the programme.
