Debate on Gender Equality and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar
The Faculty of Management and Commerce, under the flagship of Dr. B.R Ambedkar Chair, successfully organized a debate competition on the topic “Gender Equality and Dr. B.R Ambedkar”. The event was held on April 28, 2025, and was conducted by Dr. Nisha Singh, Associate Professor, FOMC, under the guidance of Dean, FoMC, Prof. (Dr.) R.K Ghai.
Dr. Sarika Abhay, Chairperson of the Gender Sensitization Cell, was the special guest for the event. Approximately 25 students from various colleges of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, including our own institution, participated in the debate.
The debate provided a platform for students to discuss and deliberate on the significance of gender equality and Dr. B.R Ambedkar’s contributions to this cause.
The debate competition was a resounding success, with students showcasing their oratory skills, knowledge, and perspectives on the topic. The event fostered a spirit of discussion, critical thinking, and awareness about gender equality and its relevance in today’s society.
