Female students & non-teaching staff were requested to attend a hygiene-awareness demonstration regarding the usage of sanitary pad machines. The activity was conducted by the Swachhta Committee on 6th December 2025 at 1:10 PM and was held in the female washroom of Sardar Patel Subharti Institute of Law, where the machines have been installed.
Staff members were introduced to:
- The Sanitary Pad Dispensing Machine, including the process of obtaining sanitary pads, coin mechanism, and machine safety guidelines.
- The Sanitary Pad Disposal/Incineration Unit, with instructions on its environmentally safe usage, capacity, and benefits of hygienic disposal.
Demonstrators explained machine functionality, operational care, safety precautions, and the importance of maintaining cleanliness around the facility. Staff members also asked queries regarding operational difficulties, refill procedures, and troubleshooting steps, which were addressed during the session.
The demonstration ensured that the non-teaching female staff became confident in using the machines independently and responsibly.
