About the Theme
The topic “Disposal of Disciplinary Cases and Dealing with Court Cases of Service Matters” will cover the objectives and functioning of Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) and CVC Act. Disposing of disciplinary cases and handling court cases of service matters is governed by strict, quasi-judicial processes, particularly for government employees in India. The rules are designed to ensure procedural fairness, timely action, and adherence to legal and constitutional standards, primarily through departmental inquiries and the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT).
